HB 151 established a committee whose purpose would be to determine how state lands could be used to develop utility corridors. The committee was directed to investigate how the sale or trade of state lands could help in developing utility corridors.
The committee would consist of 11 members, five appointed by the Governor and three each from the Senate and House.
HB 151 included an appropriation of $100,000 from the General Fund, for the committee's use.
During House debate, the appropriation for HB 151 was amended down to zero, and then back up to $60,000.
HB 151 passed the House with funding at the $60,000 level, on a 31-28 vote (one excused).
HB 151 failed the Senate Committee of the Whole (first vote), 8-21 (one excused).
The votes below are Third Reading (final passage) votes in the House and Committee of the Whole (first vote) in the Senate.
A YES vote means the legislator favored establishing a committee to investigate how to use state lands to develop utility corridors across Wyoming.
A NO vote means the legislator opposed establishing such a committee.
