Votes on Key Legislation
       The following pages contain descriptions and votes on key issues of the 2001
Legislative Session.
       Bills were chosen using one or more of the following criteria:
- The issue was significant to the general public;
- The issue was important to a significant constituency in Wyoming;
- The issue was a continuing controversy, covered in previous editions
of The Wyoming Legislative Accountability Project; or
- The vote was recorded and illustrated a difference of opinion.
       Each bill description contains a brief summary of the bill's content and proponents'
and opponents' arguments, followed by tables listing legislators and their votes. The
vote tables are organized by geographic region, with each Senate/House district
"nest" kept together. (The tables for committee votes, when known, list all committee
members together.)
