Government that Works for You

A Blueprint for a More Accessible and Accountable Wyoming Government

An Open Letter to the Citizens of Wyoming:

This blueprint outlines changes that will help make Wyoming government more accessible and accountable to the people it serves. It provides background information and proposes specific actions in the following areas:

  • expanding voter registration options for citizens
  • complete lobbyist reporting
  • disclosure of conflicts of interest
  • campaign finance reform
  • eliminating obstacles to the use of Wyoming's initiative & referendum

"Government that Works for You" is intended as a reference and a guide. Our proposed solutions are not the only possibilities, but our goal is to generate discussion and action toward a more inclusive and participatory state government.

We welcome your suggestions and the opportunity to discuss these ideas further.

Sincerely,
Sarah Gorin
Board Chair
